Vacation Bible School

Vacation Bible School is coming June 13-17. The team still has a few needs that we hope the congregation can assist with.

We still need someone to prepare dinner on Monday night and Thursday night. If your group or committee would like to fix dinner on one of those nights, we would very much appreciate it. Please contact Rich at the church office (343-1497) if you would like to help.

As time goes on, the VBS Team will be requesting supplies that are needed. At this point, the only request is for 2 or 3 Slip N’ Slides for our Friday night finale.

As in the past we will be pre-registering participants. This year, pre-registration will be held after church (in Hadley Hall) on May 22, June 5 and June 12. Pre-registration is very important because it helps us plan the week’s events, including dinner preparation. Additionally, supplies are limited; so, pre-registration insures that your child will receive everything.

If your child will be participating, be sure to register early.

Brad’s Baskets Support Needed

Brad’s Baskets

The Education Committee will be participating in the Brad’s Baskets program again this year. This program provides an Easter basket to families with a seriously ill child. This year, the sponsored family has a 7-year-old boy with a brain tumor and two older brothers. If you would like to make a financial contribution, just indicate “Brad’s Baskets” on your check. We will use the contributions to purchase Easter basket items for the family. Gas gift cards and prepaid cards for Winco or the movies are also welcome. Please bring your gifts in to the church office by March 17. Thanks in advance for your generosity.
